This is not a new story, but I just found out about it yesterday on Facebook. I am really happy that Geddy Lee was motivated to contribute to the museum. I have not been there in a long time, but it is a really nice museum.

My sister lives in KC and I visit that museum and the connected KC jazz museum next to it every time I visit.

Really nice spot and I enjoy walking around that neighborhood.

That’s pretty awesome, I know he’s got quite the collection of baseball memorabilia. He’s a big Toronto bluejays fan and you can see him behind home plate quite often.

It makes me think of a photo in the Presto tour book (I think it was) where he's backstage in the green room and there's a set of prosthetic (big) noses on stands on a table as he's getting ready before a show. Now that's a collection! Rush has always had a great sense of humour.

My wife watched a Rush documentary with me and basically said the same:
“I still don’t love their music, but what a great bunch of guys!”

I suspect all three, if Neil Peart were still alive, would prefer to be liked as people than admired as musicians. They aren’t lacking fans.

My hometown. Next time you’re there, make sure you go standing on the corner, 12th Street and Vine. Not a big deal in and of itself, but you can say that you did it. I never knew anything about any Kansas City wine, I used to just get Boones Farm from this liquor store on 39th Street, they never carded.

Then, about 20 minutes or so east of there, on Truman Road(aka 15th Street), you can visit Charlie Parker in his final resting place(Lincoln Cemetery). While I prefer Gates BBQ, if you haven’t done Bryant’s, you should.

The father of a good friend of mine (“Slick” Surratt)played for the Monarchs.

One other really cool thing, especially since I am a Chicago Cubs fan that was born and raised in Chicagoland, he got his love for baseball watching the Cubs on WGN TV in the hotel rooms during the day, waiting to go to the venue for sound check! So cool!

One other really cool thing, especially since I am a Chicago Cubs fan that was born and raised in Chicagoland, he got his love for baseball watching the Cubs on WGN TV in the hotel rooms during the day, waiting to go to the venue for sound check! So cool!

I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and it's where I live now.

Somehow, I've never been to see a Cubs or Sox game. In fact, the only MLB game I've ever been to was the Toronto Blue Jays when my family vacationed there when I was a kid.
