Geddy Lee pick-ups?

I want to change my stock vintage jazz pick-ups that came in my Geddy for something else. I was looking at Fender Mod shop's Samarium Cobalt noiseless pick-ups. I'm looking for some more bottom, mid and to get rid of any noise, the kids want to get me something for Christmas and I was thinking some pick-up's. I'm fairly new to all this bass stuff but loving it. Anybody ever try these? If so do you like them or like something else better. I mainly play classic rock, rock, motown stuff (still learning). Thanks for your time and any help!

hey, i haven't ever played with the fender pickups you are talking about, but i have dimarzio model j's in my fretless sx and i can coax a pretty warm, deep, growly sound out of them, especially playing over the neck pickup with less volume on the bridge, and the tone down about halfway. to each his own, of course, but i really love these pickups.

Ok, I found 2 sets of Dimarzio. One model DP123 model J with a D.C. resistance of 6.7. Or a DP149 Ultra jazz with a resistance of 12.3. Please tell how it goes with the resistance, higher better sharp notes and sound. Low resistance mudder sound? I don't really know and would like to learn, thanks guys.

I bought my GL Jazz used, loaded with DiMarzio DP123's. The tone is tamer than the stock models I checked out but there is plenty of bottom and nice treble. I was told that the stock p/ups were very brittle sounding at high volume and extremely noisy (hum). It is still a very hot sounding Jazz Bass and I have to be careful not to stand directly facing my amp or it will scream!
