Geddy Lee using a white bass.

Reading this thread has driven me to the point of where I can't resist. I had to find out "why it is here" and "why it happened." I decided to become the Seeker and find out the main monkey business (the "Superconductor" if you will). The thread appears to be run by a bunch of pariah dogs and wandering mad men and is composed of a caravan of jokes and a "touch" of open secrets. The posts just seem be fueled by a cold fire and go the way the wind blows, but I think there's a ghost of a chance that we hold on and keep the thread unlocked (even though it may read like a bad episode of the Twilight Zone). I mean, another thread as drab as "P or J" is more than a man can endure!

I'll give the good news first. We've all learned our lessons from previous threads and heed the distant early warnings of derailment. We've all got things we know, things we wonder, and things we'd like to say, but it takes tough hearts to see past the clouds of fear of making a bad joke. It takes a little more than persistence to get up and go the distance. We must embrace our nerdiness, let the banners be unfurled, and hold our red star-men proudly high in hand, so we may have one little victory. Personally I'd contribute, but I'm nobody's hero.

I wish you all well.

Just sounds like a halo effect brought on by malignant narcissim to me. I suggest we hold on and put on our bravest face so as not to give a weapon to those whom would conduct a witch hunt. I hope that doesn't seem totally faithless. But if we take up our armor and sword against the enemy within then there is a ghost of a chance that we will overcome our neurotica and reach that peaceable kingdom. There upon that alien shore we shall rest in the garden, remove our warpaint and heal our scars.
