Interesting point. Just saw them for the first time last Sunday, and I saw no trace at all of an amp unless they are disguised or hidden with the stage stuff.

It does say he uses a Sunburst Geddy Lee Jazz as his 2112 back up. Then again, I guess all his basses are Geddy Lee basses, right?
