Actually/technically, given the vastness of his collection, the majority of his basses would have the stock pickups in them.

But - yes, prior to him being bitten by the "collector's bug" he used (uses) the Brantley pickups in his '72 Jazz Bass he is known for, and possibly in other of his "player" basses.

Brantley’s are great ,great pickups! I use them in my Bluesman vintage, which is basically a replica 1971 jazz bass.
