Hi, I am trying to find replacement latching push switches for a shuttle 9 head. The ones on the mute and signal shape. I cannot find a part number on the component can anyone please help?

I no longer sell parts, way too many misdiagnosed DIY repairs creating demands for refunds on non-refundable parts.
That said, unless the switch is physically broken, it’s almost certainly not the switches.

There is a factory flat rate service program for your amp, PM me for the details. I do stock all of the parts for the Shuttle amps. The flat rate does not apply to amps that have failed repair attempts however, due to the added work required to restore these amps to factory condition.

When I purchased a used ShuttleMax 9.2 (after stupidly selling the one that I purchased new) I had no idea of the hours or type of use my used 2nd amp had. I submitted it to the Genz•Benz factory flat-rate service program, aka the spa. It came back to me quickly and seamlessly, like a newly polished tonal diamond. It had several things repaired that I wouldn't have imagined, and the amp has been working flawlessly on a daily basis for the past several years since. Thank you, Mr. Fields, Mr. Genzler, and FMIC for supporting these great amps in this stellar manner.

Thank you all for the replys, genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately the shipping costs to the US from the UK is a little prohibitive. I brought this head as a project to back up the shuttle 9.0 I already use. Two of the 3 switches on the signal selector have failed, 100% the switches. There is also a fault with the power amp section to be looked into but it's an interesting learning curve.
I whole hearted agree that equipment should be serviced by an expert but when there is nothing to lose worth having a look.
Andy & Jeff, these are a great amp and the fact that you offer any support at all is a testament to you both. Thanks again.

Does the amp switch with the footswitch and the push-button switches in the out position?

Never had the footswitch tbh.
With the signal shape switch in the out position works fine, in the in position cuts the output. "Jiggle" the switch sound will come back. I have continuity tested the 2 failed switch and confirmed. I am certainly no expert but do have a reasonable understanding of electronics and circuitry. Most definitely a DIYer but recognise my limitations and understand your policy of not supplying components, just trying to source a direct replacement before bypassing the signal shape completely or "persuading" the closest alternative I can find to fit.

I don’t think it’s the switches, but what do I know?

It’s been more than 15 years since I designed those amps, I don’t remember the manufacturer or model. I just use the service stock that I have. You will need to do some research to choose the correct part and hope it solves your problem.

An experienced, qualified service tech would be able to troubleshoot this. I have seen similar issues when somebody sprayed “miracle cure all spray” on the PCB in the attempt to fix what they didn’t understand, causing the problem.

It may well not be the switches but replacing these will confirm one way or the other. It is clear that your design has stood the test of time and that these amps are still in regular use by many of us confirm this. I appreciate you taking the time to respond and genuinely value your comments.

That looks right. Good luck, don't damage the PCB removing the old part. I do have some of the complete PCB assys in stock for that model but they are expensive.

Hi Andy, I had already removed the switches prior to my 1st post, (I learned my lesson removing component's many years ago, yes I destroyed a PCB nothing important, fortunately).
I fitted them this afternoon and fortunately this has solved the problem with the pre amp.
