Double Bass Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0

I'm in the market for a doubler head, and am considering

Going with a Shuttle. I am kicking around the idea of the 6.0, but I was wondering if any of you could help me with your comparison of the new 9.0

Should I lean toward the older mapping of the electronics, or is there benefit other than that of the more power of the 9.0.

I was looking for a doubler head a couple of weeks ago and shied away from the Genz benz as is doesn't have parametric mids, and you get such weird mids with the upright that this is really a must. The shuttlemax series would be much better imho if you want to stick with genz. I am trying out the Aguilar th500 and am so far very happy with it. The parametric mid is a life saver on that amp and it has the headroom that upright requires with my loud jazz band.

I second that I have a shuttle and its pretty tricky to get the mids right. I'm looking to get a carvin or hartke, something that could do upright and electric. The ones I'm thinking if have graphic eq and/or parametric eq.

I use a ShuttleMax 12.0 which works very well...also have a 31 band graph in the fx loop, just to be safe

hold on, I'm confused. The Shuttle does have parametric mids, no? Like, a mid level knob and a mid freq knob? Am I missing something?

The shuttles do have parametric mids.
