Nice! I have so many George Bensonrecords and CDs, folks often forget what an amazing guitar player he is. IIRC 'Bad Benson' was my first, Ron Carter and Steve Gadd (!!) those CTI records are so much fun music to discover again and again.
I have an early Lp copy of "Breezin" before the "featuring This Masquerade" note on the cover was added after the radio hit made the record so popular they needed a reprint.
Just like they also forget how amazing a pianist Nat King Cole was because of their popularity as vocalists.
George used to live out here and he bought Lonnie Smith out to live for a year or two and would sit in with him at a small local gig Lonnie had, it was awesome. Lonnie is a another master of left hand and footwork for kicking the bass. Two of the best playing together!
