Took a long break, but I’d like to get back into learning bass. I’m not a complete beginner, but I’d like to better understand the fretboard and learn some chops.
I want to be a confident player that can sit in with a band and feel comfortable.
I’m looking for a good series on YouTube or a book equivalent.
I play mostly rock but would love to learn what makes other styles so great (everything from country to r&b). I just want to expand and soak up everything.
Having said that, is there anything you’d recommend that could help guide my practice? Lessons aren’t really an option at the moment, as I’d like to make a go of this on my own.
Thanks in advance!
