Ghetto 6 string best tuning with 4 string

Ignore these guys, the fingerboard stays the same, when you and your guitar player are figuring out new riff you do it like you always do it... 3rd string 4th fret, 1st string 2nd fret, so on and so forth.

I know a few in here that tune C G D A. You can tune a half step lower... And you can get strings that will be even tension from string to string no problem.
