Sorry I missed the part about you being from Italy.
If I had to choose from the three standard sets, 45-65-85-105 would definitely be my choice. Too bad they don't offer 40-60-80-100 as a standard set as I would normally like to go lighter with flats compared to rounds.

Been using flats exclusively for 10 years now. For the last 2 years I've had La Bella 760 FLs on my P-Bass....they are my favorites and I've tried dozens.

Shrimpflea, if the one in your avatar is an American Vintage 62 Reissue, I want to put my flats on exactly the same bass (even same color...). And I know that webpage (the one you're linking to). Actually I'm still quite undecided... GHS Precision or LaBella DTB? Since it's a Vintage Precision, I want it to sound, well, vintage...

The only flats I've ever used in the past are the D'A Chromes. In fact, I've never even considered trying any GHS strings in my life...until now.
A hopeless chocolate lover, I've got to try this tantalizingly sweet, mellow sound you're talking about. Hope it's just like Hershey's Almond!

As I indicated in my earlier post, I was so happy when I discovered I could order a custom set (40-55-75-100) from BSO, thanks to Jason.
The only drawback right now is I don't have a P bass to try them on. (Shame on me, I was stupid enough to sell my MIM P!) We'll see how they sound on my Jazz - maybe just like rich dark chocolate?

Ha, I would say so! We have a set on an 80s Fender Jazz in the office, and it does sound dark and rich.
Dark and rich = just the way I like it!

They are great strings. I have a set on my 5 string Carvin fretless, and have used them many years. Y'all got them priced right, too.
I love flats too, but while I did have a 2-year period where I used nothing but, I went back to rounds about a year ago for the exact same reason. So nowadays I use them to record certain things, but not live.
