Does anyone know what type of fuzz the bassist from Sky Eats Airplane uses for the intro to Giants In The Ocean?

It sounds too "gloopy" to be a real bass. I'm guessing that it's a synth. If it is a bass, there is definitely delay on it, plus some sort of filter, and maybe a bit of modulation.
On second (and third) listen, you're right. A synth definitely comes in after a couple of measures, and that's what I was hearing more of.Really? I don't hear that gloopyness. I hear it in the sound that comes in at the third measure, but not the very first "duht-duht-daduht". I don't even hear a filter there, but I may be just missing it.
My guess would be that that's indeed a fuzz with a chorus. No idea what fuzz though. So. Yeah.
