Giants In The Ocean-Sky Eats Airplane fuzz tone

There are a whole lot of synths and sequencers in there. Are you sure it's a real bass in the intro? Some of the later riffs in the song sound more like a real bass with overdrive but I suspect even those were sampled and repeated...

Really? I don't hear that gloopyness. I hear it in the sound that comes in at the third measure, but not the very first "duht-duht-daduht". I don't even hear a filter there, but I may be just missing it.

My guess would be that that's indeed a fuzz with a chorus. No idea what fuzz though. So. Yeah.

On second (and third) listen, you're right. A synth definitely comes in after a couple of measures, and that's what I was hearing more of.

I think that you could copy the tone with a Russian Big Muff Pi, or the new Bass Big Muff. Either way, I'd keep the gain and tone fairly low.
