With mixed emotions I am listing my MINT Gibson Blackbird bass. This bass is in showroom condition. It has, literally, a half hour of play on it. I purchased it with the thought of someday getting it signed and putting it in a frame. Well, with a daughter going to university this fall there are some bills that are coming that need to be covered. I will answer any questions and send more detailed pics for anyone interested. This bass is 100% original except for the strap locks that were on it when I received it. It has spent it's life in its case. These are awesome basses and the look cannot be described. With full disclosure I want to say that the picture of the back of the neck shows marks. These aren't dings or dents. I didn't want to try to rub them so as not to damage the paint finish. Also, on the opti grab there is some white wax or polish that was there when I got it. It's either from factory or from the previous owner. It wipes off, but I left it to show that the bass is virtually unhandled. The asking price does not include shipping. Buyer to pay actual shipping. Asking $1200 USD. Thanks for looking.
The string heights look very low, like near touching the pickups and last fret. Any pics with average playing heights and bridge height adjustment? Thanks

As promised some more photos. String height is fine. No fret buzz and no touching on pick ups. I wiped the dust off and added some other shots as well. The combo hasn't ever been set. Like I said, it came to me and I put it away. Plastic is still on the electronics cover. A "closet queen" one might call it.
