If you are referring to the original Optigrab Bridge version, then yes, they are different in several respects-

The optigrab bridge, used for anchoring you pinkie for picking. A more simplified control layout with a toggle pickup selector, and from what I am told a raspier rock sound.
Also the finish, on the ones I have seen look like they were applied by a third grader, in that they used a satin black paint without filling the grain. Also many had drip & paint runs in the finish.
