Gibson EB-2 (30.5" scale) strings

Hey all! I'm looking to put a set of round core, round wound pure nickel strings on my Epiphone Rivoli (same as Gibson EB-2, 30.5" scale). Any recommendations?
In my guitar playing life I use Pyramids, but I can't find info on whether Pyramid's offering (blue pack) is round core or hex. I suspect hex...
On my other basses I love Dogal Hellborgs. I know they're stranded core, but I just love the slinky feel and I think they would really match up well with the bass heavy EB-2 sound. The problem is the shortest version they make is for 32" scale, so I don't know if they'll work on my bass.

Any other suggestions for low tension round core nickels? I have Thomastik flats on there now, just looking for a round wound tone.

Pyramid bass pure nickels are "Sechskant-Stahlkern" (p. 10) but they once wrote an enquiring customer they'd be ready and willing to make them a custom set of roundcores. [Their 6-string guitar "Nickel Classics" and "Studio Masters" (pp. 16-17) are pure nickel on a round core (the latter are also lightly polished).]

Ditto for having them made in short-scale version.

Are you not getting grounding issues with them? This bass had old black nylon tape wounds on when I got, and I was getting some buzz from the missing string ground.

I think the DR coating still conducts, so it's quiet.
