Sure, I grabbed these at my thread posted last time in the repair section:

I assume this one has been replaced by the previous owner since the knob was not like that on other EB3s

gents already gave some opinions but if have to add something then it would be awesome. I just don't have an idea why the headstock was on natural finish. i am planning to paint it black and top it with a clear coat (should i fix the "N" part from the gibson logo?). I was thinking this was fake since the headstock looks diffrent. thanks guys!

It looks real, looks like they just sanded the black off the headstock.

Yeah they've snded it. The Gibson and Crown inlays are just blocks,and the details of the letters are just paint - they made a point (and very sensibly too) of not removing these painted bits

it is scallop right? i've checked the serial number a year ago and found it authentic although the natural finish was very questionable to me.

I have a 61 EB0F and a 68 melody maker IV. they are a little muddy for my taste. i use the melody maker one more, as it has less mud. still love the looks....

Barkless, I couldn't agree with you more... In fact, I'm exploring my inner Felix Pappalardi and trying to "extract" more mud from my EB-3's.

I've started a new EB-3 project to do just that!

Played a 63 Eb3 for 28 years, never had a problem. I'd
often use the bridge pickup eq'ed so the thing would
literally snarl.

I bet that's just simply the best way to mine the lows from this axe.

I raised the neck pickup polepieces slightly on the D and G strings of my 69 EB-3.
