Gibson RD Artist

I just found a RD Artist in pristine condition with the OHC I am buying for 870 $ and I verified all the electronics (moog included) works OK. The question I have is what strings are better for this bass?

Just in case: I have with me La Bella flatwound 760FHB2 strings (39-56-77-96) for the Hofner 500/1 and similars....
Are this strings ok for the RD?

Congrats - I had one of those for years, and really miss it... I used to run GHS Boomer mediums on mine, and they worked just fine... I want to say that I used longscale plus, but I can't remember for sure...

good price. I use the extra long scale Labella flats on mine - and sometimes D'Addario chromes (also extra long)

OK... thanks for your comments about...So looks like SWING BASS 66 is a good option.... What gauge could be better? I am a real newie

Has anyone here a detailed info about the RD Artist? Moog diagram? etc...

I like Carvin Medium Gauge roundwound long scale. I find Rotosounds too bright.
