This is a really sweet short scale, doesn't sound muddy or boomy like the old ones at all. These are the Gibson USA thunderbird pickups, and paired with the mahogany Sg body shape it gives out a tone like no other. Neck pick up is extremely articulate/clear and round, and Depending on how much you dial in the bridge pickup it can cut through any mix. Really unique sound and feel.
