Gibson Victory Standard Bass Pickup

Apparently one coil in the pickup of my '84 gibson victory standard has died. Since these pickups are shielded with some sort of epoxy i don't think it's possible to have it rewound!? has anyone ever tried it?

i guess i will have to look for a replacement... any suggestions from you guys for a pickup with sound & dimensions similar to the original? and of course if anyone has a spare original gibson victory standard bass pickup i'd be more than happy if you'd get in touch...

If memory serves, these were those oddball round p'ups, right? Like ovals?

I'm thinking you're going to need a real Gibson p'up...

i thought these were like RD pickups. if potted you'll likely have to buy a replacement, possibly a custom size order. photo and measurement?
