Gigging an Alembic Series I?

Here in Holland (and sometimes in Belgium and Germany) you can see a Metallica tribute with the low end from a Series II :D
It is what they were made for and imho the audience deserves the best. 😎 (doesn't always have to be Alembic, but in some cases it is)

Watched a couple of clips, are you sure there's an Alembic? All clips I've seen is with a Kawai bass... nevertheless, nice! :-)
That would make sense. The Kawai does look somewhat like an Alembic. A Series one lists for $35k! I’ll have to get a pic from my friend (I didn’t take any) but the bass had the piece between the pickups so maybe a different bass, maybe not. The tone in Little Lies video was very close to live.

Looks like there may be Alembic pickups in the Kawai and the guitar player looks to have a Turner guitar. (or a real good copy)
EdwardofHuncote could positively identify it I guess?

No Fleetwood Mac expert here, but I do like their music a lot. Sounds like this tribute does a great job. (EdwardofHuncote?)

If there was a dummy hum canceller on the bass at the concert, it could very well be an Alembic. They are out there :-) Or if the bass player has budget restrains, maybe one of the Fernandes clones. No doubt (and no matter what bass) it sounded good, he's sounding great in the vids!

I remember when you had the Blackened bass made. Did you ever write or try to contact Jason?

I just saw this Fleetwood Mac tribute band. I was a little worried when they first started but they were very good and the show was entertaining. I believe the bass player had an Alembic Series I. It sounded great...tight low end.

The gal playing the role of Christine McVie looks amazingly like Christine and her voice sounds pretty close to Christine's as well.
