    Somebody read my mind because this is exactly what I've been wishing for (at least, I think it could be). It's a GiO USB Guitar Interface and Controller for the Mac. It allows you to interface your guitar (and presumably bass) to Logic Studio 9, MainStage 2 and GarageBand ’09 on the Mac.

    I practice all the time with Logic Pro. It's extremely powerful and I love it. I've been telling myself for some time now that I need some kind of hands-free control so I can work Logic while I'm playing. This item doesn't appear to be shipping just yet and there is still a question of how well integrated it is but I can't wait to try one out.
