Had my Jazz combo perform this past Friday, Thought it went well for an audience of 200+ (didn't know until after show). It was my first real performance out for people, and I'd like to know what people think.

I have three on my myspace, if you guys could lemme know what you think of it I'd much appreciate it. :)

Cheers,

EDIT- My rig is as follows: Warwick FNA 5 > EB Volume Pedal > Demeter Comp > Ampeg Portabass 2x10 Combo

honest opinion thick skin time:
Track one Revelation tuning problems in the horns, song almost put me to sleep- not a great attention getter

Track 2 : Boplicity- Got to mix up that drummer a bit -everything on 2/4 on those cymbals sounds monotonous

Track 3 : A Staring Contest- I couldn't hear the bass at all!

In all the tracks there is a definite lack of tightness and energy
From what I read on your page, your experience in school and in music in general needs to be expressed more and these songs/arrangements are not what are showcasing your talents.
