Last rehearsal I had some trouble with my 1001 RB2, plugged in my pedalboard and was getting very little volume and it sounded very farty, assumed one of my pedals cables come out but checked them all and everything was fine so I plug in directly with no pedals and still had the same thing, volume output was dropped drastically, woofer knob turned to 12 oclock and I was barely getting anything and you could hear the volume going up and down. I checked all my cables, unplugged my tuner, tried a different speaker cable, guitar cable, power cable. different bass and still had the same thing. I have it in a rack but have a space above it for ventilation. It was working perfectly last jam, no signs of trouble.
I was reading that if the effect loops get dirty it can cause problems, would the problem I'm having be consistent with this? Only thing I haven't tried was using another bass head with the cab (Ampeg SVT-410HE).
If it makes any difference I do use a LS2 Line Selector since my bass is wired stereo and one channel of it has a overdrive pedal on all the time, I don't crank it stupid loud however.
Thanks for any help
