I've been a long time user of combos and used a few stacks in the form of venue backlines. I finally took the plunge in creating my rig.
I've bought a 1001RB and will be waiting a month or two for the cabinet (410RBH). I want to test the amp powers up, but am I right in saying as it is solid state, all will be fine with no cabinet connected? I know tube amps need a load or the transistor (?) blows?
As for 8 years I've used a GK combo, I haven't educated myself on this aspect!
