Double Bass GK 150E vs. 200MB

My 150S is, I believe, a version I. The transformer is a traditional iron leaf style and it is mounted inside the speaker cabinet.

The GK MB200 used a conventional iron power transformer mounted in the cabinet. There are a few series of the MB150. The most recent version uses a toroidal power transformer that is mounted in the top of the amp along with all the other electronics. I'm not sure about the series I and II versions, but I think at least the series I used similar construction to the MB200.

I just remembere that I once dropped mine, and it took out the
power transformer. It was inside a GK Padded (Diaper Bag) Carrying Case.
