GK 400RB
This is a older cord still attached, 1/4" jacks model (late 80's very early 90's maybe?? Do't know exact year).

In pretty good shape.
Works awesome. Lots of tone.

I'll have KJung post his impressions and we broke it out umong the Markbass and other heads we put through at his place.
Lets say it really kept up with the new "hot" amps.

I'll have pics up later (at work right now).

$235 shipped in CON USA only.

Free bump for a great sounding amp...I was at the hang at KJung's house and this GK sounded very similar in tone and punch to the Thunderfunk that was there...and that thing is loud too!

I think the 4 - 88 on the back indicates April 1988. I have one just like it but 3 - 83.

These are nice amps.

Ahh.....you may be right. I'll do some digging and see what I can come up with.

If I just didn't get my Genz Benz Shuttle, I would be using the crap out of this.

It was a total "sleeper" when I got it.
First time I used it on a gig I was like: "Sweet Michael Manring on a bike does this old thing sound good!!!":D

Agreed. I'm tempted to get this just to have another one lying around.

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. It's like a mini version of the 800RB I just got in the mail :hyper:

Thats pretty much it.

+1...I remember at that hang we did a completely blind test on it with Will Pope (one of the best players in Detroit)...he came to the basement and had no idea that it was there, we had him face the other way and wail away, and I'll just say that the little GK MORE than held it's own against the other amps down there...

Would you consider a trade of the 400RB (or partial trade), for a perfect-sounding and working Alembic FX-1 tube bass premap with VERY minor scratches? Thanks.

The original GK 400RB puts many modern amps to shame tone wise. The 400RB is also incredibly loud for it's very conservative power rating. This amp is a steal at this price. I'd buy it if I didn't already own one.
