GK 700 RBII - which cabinet sounds best with it?

i currently play through an older Hartke 4x10; looking to upgrade to a 2x10 plus 1x15 (possibly just another 4x10).

recently played through an Eden XST 2x10 and fell in love but it's out of budget... perhaps i'll pick up a used one?

just curious to hear what the cabinet of choice is with most GK 700 RB-II owners (2x10s/4x10s)... thanks!

why not one of the GK cabinets, either Neo or traditional that allow you to use their biamp system, which is pretty good? I have a Neo 112 w/ my 700RB II, which works very well in my case. I may get a 2nd cabinet for the rare times I need a larger rig. The biamp feature is great. Being able to separate the woofer/tweeter by amp has brought a whole new dimension, and I have never heard such wonderous high frequencies coming from my bass rig.

I run one GK NEO 212 with my 700RB-II for most small/medium sized gigs. I have another GK NEO 212 but so far really haven't needed the extra firepower.

I also have a Neo112, which is a fabulous match for the head, and I do like the bi-amp feature. I'm debating between a second Neo112 and a Genz-Benz NeoX212 for by "big" rig. I think the GB will sound a little warmer, and I'd like a one cab solution, but the Neo sounds excellent and would be even better as a pair. So I dunno.

I've also run the 700RB-II through my SWR Goliath III 4x10, and it sounds fantastic. Between the G-K's massive power and the SWR's efficiency, it's a huge sounding rig, even at eight ohms. Loads of punch and clarity.

I run mine through an SBX 410 and SBX 115 and it sounds monstrous. The biamp mode does widen the sonic palette. GK isn't making them anymore, but there are a lot of used ones out there. They replaced them with the RBX line last year if you like new.

I got a 410RBX paired with a 1001RB-II, and let me say that no other amp on this earth can compare to this setup. I'm getting a 115RBX to add to it soon.
