GK 800rb parts?

Ok guys I just ordered some parts from GK. Nothing crazy, just a couple pots. Problem is they no longer carry the pots that fit my board. The pots that they sent me won't fit in any way. I've tried to "mod" them but its just not working. Apparently my GK is an older model and they only stock the newer model parts. So does anyone have an idea of where I can buy some matching pots or has anyone had this problem? I can post pics later for reference if needed. As of right now heres my board number....... That's all I got, sorry.

The pot I'm having trouble finding is the "frequency" pot. Thanks.

This may not ne what you're looking for, but here goes.

With things like antique cars, obsolete computers, vintage photography etc enthusiasts often have to resort to just buying "parts pieces". Maybe finding a non-working unit from the same REV on eBay to use for parts is going to be the way. Not an inexpensive solution, and no promise of perfectly functioning parts like NOS ones would be, but at least you wouldn't have to try and mod newer parts to make them fit; possibly creating a different problem downstream.

I bet this becomes more and more of a thing for amps as time goes on. This brings to mind a lot of threads popping up recently regarding Carvin amps. These may start getting harder to find as cheaply as today as they start showing parts failure. Folks who have the Carvin stuff do seem to really love them. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the older ones start getting kinda hard to find as folks start snatching them up to raid discontinued parts.
