I used a Backline 600 with a Berg NV 610 for a while and it sounded awesome. Wanted a little more power and versatility so I got me a Carvin BX500. I like that more for a variety of reasons, but I held onto the GK. Nothing wrong with that head except for the 'backline' in the title. It's the same quality as their other heads only with less features.
I would rather be in a position to upgrade the amp and keep the NV215, than have a lesser cab under a better amp. But as it is there is no reason why you would *need* to upgrade. Even if you doubled the power the setup isn't going to be all that much louder.
