I am replacing a speaker on a GK cab (410MBE) and it seems that the original speaker has some kind of silicon or sealant around the edge where it touches the cab. Does anyone happen to know what it is?
It's to provide a gasket/air seal. Might need a butter knife or something to pry the old one loose, then put a small bead of caulk/silicone there to seal the new one in.
Some other form of gasket material/weatherstripping would also work.
