GK Fusion 550 swap

I've owned both, but it's been a long time since I had the Fusion 550. I would lean towards yes, but hopefully someone with more recent experience can chime in. Why replace the 550 though? I remember it being a big amp. Punched like a train hitting you in the chest.

I can't compare the Fusion 550 (which I still use often and like very much) to the Legacy 800, but I did own an MB Fusion 800 for a while and I imagine it's somewhat similar to the Legacy 800. The 550 and Fusion 800 both have what might be characterized as the "GK sound," but what was most different about them to me was the way they handle power. What I like about the 550 is the way the power amp section reacts when being pushed, and the 800, being Class a D amp, doesn't behave the same way at all. I know some people love the Fusion 800, but I just could never quite dial it in, for my taste.
