GK Legacy in a rack...

Contemplating putting my Legacy head in a rack, with a shelf or drawer for my always-on pedals and JDI, and a rackmount power supply that I have laying around. The only pedal I step on live is my tuner, otherwise it's just pre and comp, always on. Currently I use one of those Pelican type cases that everything goes in. Works fine, but could be nice to have it all in a rack ready to go more or less, and my gig bag could likely hold most of the rest. This is just for my local gigs, no real touring situation.
But I wonder if it'd be overkill, would shave off a little setup time but nothing major. Anybody else have a similar rig they care to share--small amp and just a few pedals in a rack setup?

my current rack is wireless receiver->preamp/fx->DI box, plus an IEM transmitter. Super fast to set up - one power plug, one XLR to the stage box, and one back from the stage box. It's wired so all the cables come out the front, so it usually stands on its back, and the back panel is never removed.

Prior to that I had wireless->rack tuner-> Ashdown Little Giant Amp ->rocktron preamp/fx (in loop)-> (return)ashdown.
Even faster to set up as it just had power and speaker to plug in, and still pretty light.

I'd go for it. The real win is the peace of mind that its all plugged together already, so you know that you have all the pieces and they're correctly connected. Just drop it down on the stage and you're done.

I'd consider if you could rackmount a tuner - that's two cables you save (signal and power), which isn't much but it really adds up.

I'd also avoid a rack drawer. They weigh a ton, and while they seem like a great idea to keep everything together, they're just not worth it unless you have a massive rack, and associated massive person to load it onto your massive van.

Current gigging rig and for larger rooms 2 cabinets.

Good stuff everybody!
Even though it's just for my local gigs as I say, and invariably I'm still the first one in the band finished setting up anyway;), I'm tired of fussing w all the little separates in the pelican case. My rig is so simple seems like I could make it way more plug and play. Tony you got me thinking to put my MB200 in there too w/the Legacy and boom, there's my backup!

I get not wanting to fuss either…Hence my Quantum case doubles as a guitar stand (mini boat).

So what would be a solution for having a couple pedals (in my case just a pre and comp, both regular size stomps) permanently hooked up in the rack? Still need to be able to access the knobs. I suppose putting them on the back lid as DonaldR suggest makes the most sense, with just enough cabling to set it on top of the rack when in use. My JDI could be on there as well.
EDIT: OK, now I'm thinking this might be dumb, 'cause when I use backline I still want to bring my wee pedalboard. So....maybe just rack up the amp and power supply as is more typical.

Here's my small pedalboard (Outlaw Effects battery powered) that I fit in the back lid for transport. It's a bit less than 19".

I also have this little pedalboard that fits into my front pocket guitar gigbag: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09YH3P9BW

And I'm using this tiny pedalboard when I'm lazy and just want something simple that fits into my front pocket bass gigbag, based on a Pedaltrain 3-pedal riser:
