GK mb 150s iii

hi
Has anyone gigged this amp with electric bass? Of course in small venues...
Also, would it cut with drums in a rehearsal room?
I’m very interested in it because I loveeeeee ghe gk sound, and the fact that it’s lightweight and portable...
But I’m afraid it wouldn’t be so practical for gigs and rehearsals...
So, would love to hear from your experience...
Thx

The MB150S ranks among my favorite combos. I recommend getting the extension cabinet which will deliver the full 150w through two speakers to cover live performances, depending on your band and type of music.

This is my main amp! I also have the MBX 1-12" cab and an MB 200 head. Because I play in a small trio without drums, most times I will use the MB 200 head alone as DI (I run the sound, so everything always goes through PA). In larger rooms I will use the MB 200 head with the 1 -12" cab or the MB150 S combo with the MBX 112 for the largest rooms we play. I have also rehearsed the combo with the ext cab with a 5 piece band with drums and two guitarists with 1 -12 combo amps, and it kept up fine.
