GK MBE-II (400 watt) High frequency issue

For reference, I am using a hartke LH500 head.

When my treble is turned up, or the brite switch is engaged (basically a treble booster) there is a very noticeable staticky fuzz sound that comes out of the cab. If I turn off the horn with the switch on the back of the cab, much of the fuzz sound goes away, but not all of it if the treble is up a lot and the brite switch is engaged.

This isn't a huge problem, as I do not like the tone if the treble is any past 1:00 (which is where the fuzz starts to happen, assuming the brite switch isn't engaged) however it would be nice to know if this is fixable or just a common problem.

I have the same problem. LH500 and mbe 212. Switching off the horn is also the solution in my case

The speakers don't make hiss or fuzz, they reproduce what's given to them.

The amp is the source of the noise.

Most amps will have some hiss with the treble cranked. Some more than others.
