Plugged in my MBFusion 500 tonight and the sound was very distorted and scratchy so I just banged it gently a couple of times and the distortion was gone and it's back to normal for now....
Question:
Is it a badly seated tube?
Is it a bad tube on the way out and I should just get new tubes?
I must repeat, I did not bang it hard....just picked it up from the front about 1 inch off the cab and thudded it down on the cab very gently.....I usually don't mistreat my gear....
edit: Plugged into my GK a few hours later and the distortion was back....played through it for a few minutes and it went away though some scratchiness stayed....guess I'll take it in to my local music store....bummer cause I need it for 2 outdoor BBQ parties in the next 2 weeks....
