GK Neo 112 with 115?

For a couple of years now, I've been using two Neo 112s with a Genz shuttle. I came to this setup as it's the first time I had a rig that works really well for electric bass in several genres and upright slap bass in my rock n roll band.
Although the 12s are amazing cabs, and have never let me down, I sometimes hanker for just a little more deep low end, and wondered whether pairing one of the 12s with a Neo 115 would achieve this. However I've never seen anyone using this combination. Anyone have experience?

I’m very happy with the sound. I just picked up a used Hartke 410 because I like the sound of this Hartke Hydrive HD112. The Warwick Pro115 sounds ok but I’d hate to move it to a gig(64lbs isn’t bad but its bulk makes it hard to move with one person). I was surprised the Hartke Hydrive HX410 is 59lbs but its form allowed me to pull it out of my Camry Trunk and switch it to one hand and hip while I closed the trunk Hmm bonus. lol nonetheless….. I like the 115 and 112 top.
I will try the 410 out today. Although I’m a youthful strong 61 year old, so transporting is something I keep in mind as well.

Alright!!! This 410 on its own is great!!! But so much better with the 112 on top. Sounds Big and Smooth

No direct experience playing-wise, but I've seen quite a few 212s sitting on 115s over the years.

Are you using the LF Boost (extend) switch on the amp? This, with the bass eq at 12:00 would be a good start in getting the deeper (but not muddy) tone.

Ok, good luck. Be aware that the minimum safe load for your amp is 4 ohms, so you can only use one of the 112's with your 115. (I'm also assuming that the 115 is 8 ohms).

Yes, thank you for the warning. I'm just intending to try one 112 with the 115

Yeh I've heard that. Don't really understand why, when it's a bigger box and bigger speaker. I'll report back with the results for anyone who's interested

Thank you!!!! I know it’s not GK but I did have a 112 on top of a 115. It’s nice. But the 410 is more manageable to move. So keep that in mind.
It seems I can get my tonal goals plugging into just about anything. These Hydrive 1/2 aluminum 1/2 paper are deep and cut through.
It all starts with your instrument. Pickup selection, preamp selection, string selection to reach tonal goals. I’ll be following here to see your rig too!!!! Enjoy

Cool rig for sure! Big Hartke fan myself. Did the HD112 complement and keep up with your 15” cab well? Do you think it would work well with an HD 115?
Have you used the HD 112 by itself in any settings? Just wondered your impressions of it. (I tried one a few years back, thought it was a bit scooped and not as loud as I hoped, but maybe was situational.)
