GK Neo Speaker Issues - Anyone else?

I wonder if some of these problems led GK to move from China back to the USA. There was clearly a problem with the OP's combo.

My inquiry was asking if anyone else had issues not to argue with me over amp settings or my rationale, again I’m betting someone who is familiar with the gear would agree with my complaints.

When you increase your volume, do you decrease a corresponding amount of bass EQ? Not trying to pile on, really, but even at noon, I've found GK stuff can have too much bass. That can destroy speakers at a lot less wattage than what they're rated for.

I replaced my blown GK neo speakers with Eminence deltas. It was cheaper than re coning the blown GK's. The cabs are heavier, but they sound better and I have never blown up an Eminence speaker. I have used them before in Cabs I have previously owned and they have been bombproof.

Yes, my old mb212 had two delta12lfa's after GK replaced the stockers twice in one year. I could run it wide open and push a house over and those speakers would take it in stride.

Was trying to avoid going back to conventional speakers because i had back surgery and need to avoid as much heavy lifting as possible until I’m 6 feet under

A stingray/sterling equed flat on the bass and amp doesnt produce much low end. We keep me clean clear and upfront in the mix because most of what we play is bass led.

I dont doubt it buy my beef is specificlly with the NEOYDIUM speakers they use. I have pushed traditional paragons longer harder and much much louder with never an issue ever.

The mb210-2 i have was supposed to be an all american made.

I will say the replacement speaker they sent me for the 800watt 410mbe-1 (cha cha cha china) does look differenent than the 3 remaining stock speakers.

I had both RBH and RBS cabs and they took a beating without breaking or squealing. My buddy runs his electronic drums thru'em when he isn't playing his bass thru'em. That was a while back though. Companies experiment with drivers from what I've seen. Not making any assumptions, but they did move operations back from overseas.... Good move.

Here I am again...Saturday night i set up my 410mbe 800 watt and 400 watt with the 700rb and guess what ... the 800watt neo cab has another )*^&$%%&$#(*& speaker on the way out buzzing and fuzzing and crackling when i have only used the cab 5/6 times since i had to replace the speaker that started this tread. I have been running the 400watt 410 and my 1x15 because i have had zero issues with those cabs....mostly the 400watt 410 on its on pushing it harder than i had ever pushed the 800 watt cab and it never fails.
