My inquiry was asking if anyone else had issues not to argue with me over amp settings or my rationale, again Im betting someone who is familiar with the gear would agree with my complaints.
I replaced my blown GK neo speakers with Eminence deltas. It was cheaper than re coning the blown GK's. The cabs are heavier, but they sound better and I have never blown up an Eminence speaker. I have used them before in Cabs I have previously owned and they have been bombproof.
When you increase your volume, do you decrease a corresponding amount of bass EQ? Not trying to pile on, really, but even at noon, I've found GK stuff can have too much bass. That can destroy speakers at a lot less wattage than what they're rated for.
I wonder if some of these problems led GK to move from China back to the USA. There was clearly a problem with the OP's combo.
