Double Bass Glaesel Adjustable Bridge

Has anyone used the Glaesel Self-Adjustable bass bridge?

It has the feet that 'adjust to fit the contour of the top".
I understand that proper feet/belly fit is crucial, and am thinking that perhaps this might be a good way to make it eaiser to get a good fit.

I would like to hear your thoughts.

Tone and volume suffer when those bridges are used, ime.

I agree with Nick, those bridges really stink, and are a poor fix for a new bridge, don't they cost more than double a plain bridge blank?

Put me down as a "No" as well.
My ears don't like the sound of those bridges.
You're better off putting the money into having a trained professional fit a solid bridge.
