GLX-D Shure vs Sony DWZ-B30GB wireless

hallo , not my first post but i lost account pass mail .
i was looking at those two wireless systems after doing a search.
i could spurge maybe a used Shure glx-d16 (pedal version ) for 280 € +shipping,
and a new Sony DWZ-B30GB is about 200€ if not mistaken.

Could not find any comparison about , so i wonder if someone could pinpoint me in a relevant discussion thread or give an advice about -

Never tried the Sony but I use the Shure GLX-D pedal and it is absolutely FANTASTIC! Works rock solid (full disclosure, I never am more than about 30 feet from my receiver). I love the battery life on the LiIon tx battery (~16hrs) and it is very easy to charge from USB. The rx pedal unit has a very visible tuner built in which allowed me to turf the tuner off my pedal board. Both units are metal enclosed and very solid.

Thank you Rob , Deal went away unfortunely checked now.My blame i was in search all of sudden , and i browsed a lot the matter ( 2.4 ghz wi-fi stuff and so on ) through the net ,so time slipped and did not find comparison on those 2 differently proced units .
The Sony does not look bad either ,
though the recheargable stuff is the strong point of Shure ( i could find one shure used for 370€, the double of Sony at this point )

Ty . already did ( google search) and i started from there the whole search , its a bit on "speedy" review ( claims that dwz has proprietary jack as a cons ,while shure has it also ,for example) .
Thats' whywas looking for real experience .Glad you chimed in to help though , Bro

Sorry... did not know.
I have a G90 ('cus I want/need rackmount) and would go with the Sennheiser EW 172 G3 as a replacement or another G90, probably NOT the EW D1-CI1 which is 2.4GHz. Both can be rackmounted.

I'm split on the 2.4Gh vs other frequencies tho' as the 2.4 band is getting real crowded. One the flip side, the G3 bands (A, B) are also crowded in my area. I have a "G" band Senn (556-608Mhz) for IEMs as it has the most open frequencies in my area. We also have 2 other band members with the same "G" band units, but they use G30/G50's. So adding another "G" band device might not be too bad.

Hey Alex,
There are a lot of great systems out there. This is my 2 cent opinion coming from an electrical background and musician that uses wireless weekly. I have owned Beyer Dynamic, Sennheiser, X2, Line 6 Relay, Samson systems and currently using a Sony DWZ system with great success in a large church that has a mass amount of wireless systems i.e. mics IEM and other inst systems. 2 other guitarist are using the Sony and other guitarist Sennheisers. The weak spot 1st with any of them is the cable! I custom make all mine and many others for fellow TB users (All makes). Im not trying to sell you one but insisting that you get 1 made to your specs.

wise ,and i did read about it as a common .When i used (borrowed) i got the same filmsy feeling on cables.IF not for that ,
is always right to have one spare as they are
mostly "custom"(ie uncommon) connections ,and Is beyond me WHY they are unregular connection , but just words .

Rule says , IF you have a spare , is very unlikely to break one cable. i guess , that happen in Europe as same as in the World
