Going Wireless (suggestions)

I am joining a band where everyone is wireless. Any suggestions for a Wireless Solution that I can walk into Guitar Center and pick up that works without many flaws?

a long time ago i had a Nady Wireless system. used it once, went back to reliable wires.

i've heard nothing but great things about the Line 6 line of transmitters. they even make pedalboard-friendly ones! heck, if i had extra $$ i'd invest in one! plus their digital, i believe, so no signal degregation or squelching that's found in some analog... i'm pretty sure.

I have one and not received complaints.. sound guy can't tell the diffrence between it and a wire

Yup. Are a good-FX friendly solution too as they fit easily on your pedalboard and you don't have to run an extra cable from a rack or separate unit.

I'm going to invest in a wireless myself, and I'm weighing my options. Right now I've heard a lot of good things about the Brace wireless system, so I'm leaning in that direction.

The cord DOES suck, but I got a specially made (with a 90* connector) cable to replace the stock one.

I've had no problems with my X2 rackmount, although it only sees use during live shows. When it comes to wireless I have NO experience at all with separate brands. Although I have heard lots of hype regarding the new Relay systems L6 has out. Could the hype be true? 2.8gHz or whatnot digital frequency transmission?

I have been using an X2 for a few years now and I love it. The stock cable is crap but I lost it and bought the nicer one with the 90 and not had any problems with it. I notice no real difference in my tone too.

Trust me about this one. I played the Line6 next to the Brace Audio....and sorry but the Brace was clearer, better tone and didn't color your sound. For the $ it is a best buy. Only advantange of Line6 is distance 150' to Brace 100'....Both are good buy the way but the Brace gives you the more truest tone.

I've used a Shure SLX for about 6 years. I have had 0 issues with it. It sounds great, and has a long range. It is, however, fairly expensive.

I have also made 90 degree cables for this one. I just think they look cleaner, not a problem with the cable.
