I turned the ads off for awhile....turned 'em back. Every now and then I spotted something I wanted to check out.

I use NoScript and ADBlock with Firefox at home; this suppresses them.
They show up when I use IE or Chrome, but mostly, like mimaz, they sometimes show me something worth checking out and I can ignore them the rest of the time.

Might still bump my membership level at renewal time but this feature isn't why.
And FWIW - I _never_ click on the links in embedded ads...
