The Bobelock fits my Christopher hybrid, but is fairly snug. I figure that should be a good thing, since I wouldn't want the bass to move around too much in the bag. Besides being very protective, the bag has handles that are well laid out and the shoulder strap is convenient.

I've been extremely happy with my Mooradian bags the past few years. I've got the DB bag & it's held up quite nicely the past several years [got it in late 2004]. I've also got one of their double electric bags that has been a god send.

I gotta say that this whole thread is kinda awkward. A complaint (albeit a very civil-y worded one) about someone who we know is on these boards (All Hail! Bob G). That's like being at a party and all of a sudden people start talking about you when you're in the room and pretending you're not there.

Just sayin.

I've had a Mooradian bag for about 9 years now. The top seam (top of the scroll) went right after I got an extension installed, and I had one other seam go a couple of years ago. Both times I had it repaired at a leather/shoe repair shop and it is holding up great. The pocket is ripped, but the new cases have a much more robust pocket so that wouldn't be an issue with newer Mooradians.

And I just have to add one more in support of Bob G's customer service...

I'm new to DB (EB for a while and flute forever) and just got received a bag (green) from Bob G. I'm sure there's better/higher quality ones out there (more $ too), but after owning several gig bags for my various electric bases, I think that for the amount I paid for this... these things are a steal. Just my $.02, and don't mean to change the original thread, but I'm quite happy with this bag!
