I stopped by Guitar Center today and I got a set of new strings. They are Fender nickelplated steel 4250's (.045, 065, .085, .110). I'm not sure if they are any good but........

Very interesting! One would assume they are designed for drop-tuning of some sort; can't think of a set with a .45 G and a .110 E Was drop-tuning a big thing in the 80s?

Hold up! Further research shows that these were for the Fender Precision Jr. Are they short-scale, the P Jr?
