Good Fuzz - Low Budget

I've been looking to build up my pedal rig a little bit more than the boring one and multi fx i currently have. I've been looking around for a good fuzz on a fairly low budget, any ideas?

I've tried out a copy of the zVex Wooly Mammoth and it impressed me but i'm open to other pedals and suggestions from more knowledgeable bassists.

Swollen Pickle, Wren and Cuff Tall-font, Iron Ether Oxide, Team Awesome Fuzz Machine.
To even consider others before checking these out on youtube, is kinda like wasting time and money.....

After unintentionally taking part in a total fuzz BINGE for the best part of 3 years (don't ask how many), these have to be at the top of your list IMO.
They all do what they do very well for a variety of instruments > which is generally the bane of fuzz pedal advice, as fuzz is a very interactive effect that may not work very well with varying impedance due to guitar/bass driving them > but these pedals above just do the job exceedingly well with everything I threw at them, whether it was passive, active or a non-bass (guitar, stringed instruments running piezo's, keys etc.)

Check out basschat (If you're looking for a UK site) for the classifieds, there's usually some good stuff on there....

I stumbled on a good clone builder on ebay, does a lot of muff variant clones, and wooly mammoth clones that are inexpensive for brand new. His ebay name is ralph-Campbell and he has links to videos of his pedals. I bought his Green Russian and it is good build quality and sound. The Green Russian's work great on bass. Also vote for the Swollen Pickle pretty cheap used and a great pedal.

I dig the Pickle, but plenty of cats enjoy the Pork Loin for getting into fuzz territory. My Pickle's set for a smoother, vintagey grit and big ol' low end, but I haven't tried making it really aggressive. Everything depends on the kind of sound you're looking for, frankly. If you're patient and disciplined with your ebay searching, you might land something at a ridiculous price (for me...a basically new Pickle for under $70).

The cheapest pedal I own is the unpleasant surprise, in that I have never had as much fun with any other pedal yet.

Saw that Infanem has a new gated fuzz--the 141G--with an early pre-sale price of $99. Demo sounds great and early reviews over on ILF suggest it's killer on bass. I'd be a buyer, if I didn't have an Oxide or a board with no room.
