I go by Alice Underground (yes, it's a stage name), and I'm from Philadelphia.
I'm really a multi-inturmentalist, but I started on bass all those many ages ago. I guess I've been a more dislocated from the bass-playing community than I would like, so hopefully joining here would fix that.
My biggest inspiration as musician is actually Steven Wilson. Everything he does from Blackfeild to IEM is just mind blowing. On the bassist side of things, My idol is Jaco Pastorious (as I'm sure is true for many of you here), but I also include influence form Geddy Lee, Cliff Burton, Tony Levin, John Paul Jones, and so many others.
My current rig is a Fender Fretless Jazz -> Delta Lab Chorus -> Boss DD-3-> Tech Programmable Bass Driver DI -> Fender Bassman 100 (Used only for power amp and speaker).
