i have a fender Rumble 100 1/15 amp and i had it for a little over a year. but what i just did to it is took off the little horn on the right.and wen i play. air comes out of the amp now . but the horn is some kinda speaker used for it. so i dont know should i put the horn back on or leave it off

Hi Flounder102Bass.

Why did you remove the horn from your Invalid Link Removed?

According to the Invalid Link Removed., that horn is a piezo tweeter which is there to add more high frequencies (clarity) to to your amp's sound (good for playing slap bass).

It's part of the amp's design. IMO unless it is not working properly, you should put it back in.

Even if your tweeter is defective, your cab will probably sound better without this open hole. Piezo tweeters can usually just have either 1 of the wires disconnected/insulated with tape and then simply left mounted in place so the open hole doesn't mess with your cabs tuning.

Lots of guys (like me) just plain dont like the sound of tweeters at all and have done this procedure with the non-adjustable Piezo type Tweeters like your combo has. (If you just leave the tweeter wire ends uninsulated or loose inside the amp, it may cause a short or rattle type sound issue...)

Some combos/cabs have a crossover/adjustable Tweeter system and those are more involved to corectly disconect but yours should simply require disconnecting/insulating 1 wire.
