Good used 5 string

So, I feel I could use a 5-string for a few cover gigs comming up; any ideas? I used to have a real nice active Dean Edge 5-string that I loved; are there any other good, versitile basses people would recommend? My limit is about $300 shipped. I've played and liked the Squire deluxe 5-string, but would like a few other options.
Thanks TB!

A lot of people here like that Squire. If you are willing to spend just a little bit more, you might be able to find a 5 string Carvin on ebay. Another thought is just browse through the classifieds here on talkbass. I think I saw a TBC AP500MM for sale in your price range recently.

Check out Yamaha BB415, BB615 and RBX375 (I currently play an RBX375 and it is great; 2 large Musicman style dual coil soapbars, two band preamp, great tone and a great feeling neck) Also Ibanez RD500 five string version is only a little more than $300.00. I have the four string version and it kicks butt.

TBC AP-500MM for the win :). Very stellar basses, very very vesatile with the 3 band on board EQ & big ol humbuckers. I never gigged mine before selling it, but I bet I could've played it all night without a break and not cared. Super lightweight basses!

Thanks for the suggestions guys; the TBC isn't quite my style, though it sounds like a real player, but I just bid on a nice Peavey foundation that seems like a winner...I'll let you all know how it works out.
