I've been on TB for quite a spell and have never encountered this until today. I was curious about an effects pedal. Went to the forum, ran a search and found a thread. When I tried to access it I had a Google bot test block me. I deciphered the inquiry and submitted it like a dozen times and was never permitted access. I just kept getting a new bot test. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this and if this a new algorithm. It's also curious that if you look at who is on this site at any given time, members, visitors, etc, you'll find a listing for the number of bots so evidently this software can already recognize who is real and who isn't. Thank you for your time.

Is it possible you're a replicant, and don't know it...? :nailbiting:

:D

Kidding aside, I have not seen that (yet?), but there was a stretch of time a year or two ago when the forum software got buggy, and would randomly log me out. I raised the issue over in the help desk section, and they got it sorted in a bit. Might be worth a try.

Good luck, fellow human (probably)!

Yep, I am retired and spend most of my day catering to my Rottweilers. One of my amusements on the side is participating on this forum so I'm on here many hours every day. This block today has thus far been a singular event. Guess I should follow your advice and report it.

edit: my search was "The fretless by FKT audio". Maybe someone else check it out and see what happens.

I just tried it, and it loaded the thread normally.

Whew! That's a relief!
