GoPro for filming a show

Hi all,

So we may be using a GoPro to film part of an upcoming show for some demos and link to our pages and website. It's free and works better than an iPhone...

The GoPro has ability to hook up an external mic with a 3.5mm adapter. I doubt this will doable with a condenser mic as it wouldn't power it? We have a beta57 and beta58... Or would there be better options that could work here??

Get a mini-recorder like a Zoom or similar. They have great built in mic and excellent recording. It's a simple matter to sync the video and audio on any PC or Mac

Thanks for response but I'm not trying to buy anything. The whole question is what mics could work best with the GoPro.

I would also recommend to use a Zoom recorder for the audio recording and sync it later. Then you have the full control over picture and sound.
The problem is, the best camera position for the picture could be at a position, where the sound is unbalanced...
The Zoom H6 is very good because you have the possibility to record 6 channels. I would recommend at least the gopro Hero 3 black edition.
Because in lowlight situations you can see a big difference between the cheaper Gopro and the black edition.

Here are two different videos i did with the Zoom H6, 3 Gopros (2 Hero 3+ black and a hero 4 black) and a Sony cx 700 Camcorder as a total.
! I also did a bit of mastering with the audio.
