Absolutely KILLER funk/soul band from Montreux '76. Richard Tee, Cornell Dupree, Eric Gale, Steve Gadd, and Gordon Edwards on a '69 P through an SVT. So much to learn about groove from these guys!

That must've been an incredible experience. I don't know when/where that happens these days? When/where can you walk into a club and see anything like Stuff? Certainly not here in NM. There was a time, before my time, but it's been gone for 30 years ("casinos", blah blah blah).

I really like Stuff...pretty sure I have all their albums, including the 1st 3 on vinyl.
Absolutely love their work on one of my favorite albums in that time...Tom Scott's New York Connection . Gary King (a big favorite) plays bass on this album.
